Hi! I’m Esti Araten, dog lover and professional dog trainer, specializing in Nose Work or Scent Games for dogs. I am a Certified Training Partner of the world-renowned Karen Pryor Academy (KPA CTP) and CNWI (Certified Nose Work Instructor by the National Association of Canine Scent Work®).
I work with clients and their dogs, teaching people how to communicate effectively with their dog, and training the dog to be well-behaved, loving members of the family.
I ONLY use force-free behavioral science techniques to train dogs. Every dog is an individual; mutual respect and clear communication are the secrets to a loving and harmonious life for you and your dog.
Scent Games are a key component of my training; dogs love it, and it’s fun for their companion humans. it’s an excellent way to strengthen and enrich the bond between dogs and people.

As an educator and lecturer, I have taught at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, and lead seminars and webinars in dog behavior and training techniques, including Scent Games.
Services
Your dog will learn to search for smells, based on the techniques used to train drug & bomb sniffing dogs used by Customs and the Police.
The course will benefit your dog:
- A great outlet for physical and mental energy, which is particularly important during COVID lockdowns when getting appropriate amounts of physical exercise is often difficult.
- Stimulates a dog’s curiosity, which relieves boredom. A curious dog is happier.
- Builds and reinforces self-confidence
- Shared playtime and fun bonding activity for you both!
The course is suitable for any dog of any age or physical condition; even injured dogs can participate in Scent Games – they aren’t physically strenuous and can be tailored to accommodate your dog’s physical limitations and abilities.
Scent Games teach anxious dogs to ignore the stressors in the environment, calms them, and leaves them relaxed and receptive to training.
Training Details
My online, introductory Zoom-based training course is one-on-one: just you, me and your dog. It consists of three (3) one-hour sessions, held weekly over three consecutive weeks.
Fee
750ILS for K9 Nose Work course which includes three online sessions, paid in advance.

Policies & Terms of Service
Payment for all services must be made in advance, at the time a service is booked.
Services cannot be transferred to another party.
Re-scheduling Sessions: If you need to re-schedule a session, please make your request at least 48 hours prior to the session date & time. No re-schedule will be made if the request occurs within 48 hours of the session.
Booking a dog training service from Esti Araten, is an acknowledgement that you agree to these terms.
